Lord of the Rings...

Along with a slew of girly stuff...  I've been getting ready for a certain someone's birthday.
Whom I have promised that I will start working on his
Lord of the Rings party stuff
"as soon as dance is over".

I finished these guys up at DMI {thank you Elizabeth for your help}.  Between classes and competitions I broke into party mode.  Every good "dance mom" carries around bobby pins, all day stay lip stick, and furniture polish in there bags right??  I printed theses guys at home, then ripped them, stained them, rolled them, tied them, added a ring, then a little sentiment "One Party to Rule Them ALL".  It's gonna be an awesome party- we can't wait!

Here is what they say on the inside..

Now.. I'm off to dumpster dive some cardboard...   I'm thinking we need some mountains for our Shire????

slacker....

So.. you know how I told y'all I wanted to get back here more often... And how I wanted to keep the updates a comin'......  SO SORRY :(  I now realize why the blogs that I love to follow are actual women who "work at home on their blogs" and get paid.  And well... I don't want another job ;)

We just finished up 2 glorious weeks of Spring Break.  SO FUN.  We stole away to the Great Wolf Lodge for a weekend and the rest was pretty much consumed with dance stuff.  Prissy entered her 1st ever DMI competition this past weekend.  She has been dancing her little tooshie off for weeks.  I was promoted from backstage mom to official hair, makeup, and seamstress to the group - YIKES!

She girls were amazing!
They got a 2nd place finish-
which qualifies them for Nationals
at Myrtle Beach this summer :)

They walked on air ALL WEEKEND long.  Their coach {Ms Nicole- whom we ADORE, said they were .333 of a point away from 1st place.}  I feel like they have a great chance at Nationals.

Mondays are typically the day when I clean,
do laundry, and wash the bed clothes....
But this is me today... and I have NO intensions on getting out of these pj's any time soon!
