{2013 Christmas tour..}

Welcome!  I am finally {can I get an Amen} embracing less is more.  And I LOVE it!  Christmas is less about your tree and more about your heart… After 30+ years.. I'm finally starting to get it.  I hope you enjoy!

*****

We made pine cone topiaries this year.
Totally free & lovely at this same time.

*****

I love all things feathery and bird and antler…

*****

So we added some of everything!

*****

Myrtle got a wreath around her neck.

*****

I reused the burlap wreath from last year.
1 year later… and I still like her :)

*****

David got a scarf!

*****

I'm making these ruffled trees for the teacher's luncheon.

*****

And these music note ones…
I ruffled plain old wrapping paper.

*****

The dining room got some greenery from the yard :)

*****

The living room got a quick furniture switch to make way for her Highness!

*****

The tree…

*****

In all her burlap, antler, feather glory!

*****

I'm keeping things simple under the tree too.. recycled market bags and maps.

*****

slight touches here..

*****

And there.

*****

A-man's little snowman from Pre-K remains a staple for me at Christmas!

*****

His tree had a "hunting theme" per his request.  And he wanted "colored lights please Ma'am".

*****

Prissy's tree is the reason why you should ALWAYS LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER.  It's because of Cooner that I could produce colored lights and "purple bulbs this year please Momma!"  Cooner is a bit of a hoarder and tends to rub off on me when it comes to Christmas decor… Heaven help the attic!

*****

Her room is ALL things Olaf!  We all adore the movie.

*****

And it wouldn't be Harris House without some lego representation.

*****

 A-man built this for me.

*****

I didn't add a thing to the kitchen {don't faint}.

*****

But… Mr Grumpy gills got a scarf :)

*****

My Grandpa Hord's stamp holder still holds my Christmas cards.
  {It's one of my favorite Christmas traditions.}

A simple greenery garland was added to the chandy over the breakfast nook.

*****

The master I kept very simple.  But added some of our favorite Christmas reads at the foot of the bed.

*****

With some deer..

*****

and some boxwood.

*****

My powder room got a Santa.

*****

The workroom got a chalkboard makeover..

*****

Although I am no professional…
I love wall art and carol lyrics- so humor me :)

*****

Merry Christmas!!
