It's the month when... pink is everywhere, when the magazines have the best recipes, when the kiddos & I get crazy making cards and heart shaped EVERYTHINGS, when sweets are permitted {on one certain day at the very least} no matter your A1C, when you get to celebrate the most important of the fruits of the spirit, and.... when Joey makes me a cheese cake :) I {heart} February!

So to sum up our February progress so far...
A-man's cards are complete!
They are simple and sweet {just like him}. He's NOT a frilly child... I know I'm as shocked as y'all :) How could I produce such a specimen.... Well because God knew I needed a tad more dirt and Lego into my pre-existing neat freak and glitter lifestyle. And the world shouted "AMEN!"

Prissy's cards are all but done. We just have to finish assembling {yes it's been a 10 step process}. But I think they are simply precious & that her classmates will ADORE them! She had made hair accouterments for EACH girl :)

These are the Valentine bags that I'm making for both of their classes. I still have to finish stenciling the names...

I found this tea cart at a junk store. Instantly I blamed the purchase {if you even have to count $5.00 as a purchase?} on the fact that it is for the P.A. Our March Teacher's luncheon is a "Tea Party" theme. But.. the kiddos and I are all smitten with it. So far it has been- a book mobile, a Star Wars Hoth Base, a grocery cart, a laundry cart, and so many other carts that I can't even name them all. I'm loving it as a bar cart/drink station too- super fun!

And if y'all haven't heard Hillsong's "Oceans" ... GO NOW! It is amazing and inspired this new chalk board art for Prissy's room. Listen to it
here {don't miss the end- it's my very favorite part}

A-man made this in Kindergarten today. He was suppose to draw/tell a favorite part of his weekend. I'm the one in the red ;) Prissy is in the tutu. I have never loved him more!!

**CAUTION**
gross image ahead...
but.. MUCH better :)
...I cut my finger about 2 weeks ago. It's still pretty bad. I admit that I should have gone to get stitches but I felt like I could nurse myself at home. And Flu is epidemic here and I didn't want to subject my sweet A-man to the Emergency Room... So... I did what any neurotic germa-phobe would do and used 6 tubes of derma bond and steri strips out the yin yang and pressure dressings. STILL the thing has almost "put me in my early grave" as Cooner would say. And has said to me about herself over this entire ordeal... This is me trying to let it "air out" tonight....
