our kitchen garden..

Can I just say... that this little garden brings us such JOY!  The kiddos are completely enamored with it and I must admit- I peek everyday too!

My how she's grown- we are expecting "maters" any day and cucs too!!!

And while we are on the subject- who likes my new rain boots?  I thought that I would only be using them in the rain- NO- I weed in them everyday.  It's L-O-V-E for them- I tell you!!

Look at her precious baby macaroni peppers coming- be still my heart...

And our lettuce beds!  They are stunning and the BEST crispest lettuce in NC!!!  And the kiddos race to pick it and eat it up first thing off of their plates every night!!!!

Yesterday I heard "MOMMA COME QUICK, STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING- HURRY!"  I just knew that A-man had broken something.... NOPE!  We had a new baby morning glory tomato on the vine!

  And if you happen to see me in my yard wearing my nightgown, bed jacket, and rain boots- don't think a single thought about it!  I'm just headed to my kitchen garden.
