On a very HAPPY note... I tried out a new dessert that was FANTASTIC. A-man even turned down Halloween candy for it.... I made chicken-pot-pie for dinner & had 1 sheet of puff pastry dough left. So in an instant an idea was born & OH what a YUMMY one it was!
first: flour a board then cut the sheet into 3 strips & then into triangles
(like the croissant dough comes in)
next: put some chocolate inside & roll them up like a croissant..
(Josey prefers white- what can I say?? You loose a tooth & you get to choose @ our house!!)
place them on a baking sheet & paint them with an egg-white wash. Next sprinkle some sugar on top & bake @ 350 for about 15 min (until golden)
then: (as though sugary dough needs ANY help being to-die-for) melt some more chocolate & let your kiddos & husband dip & spread until their little sticky fingered hearts are content!!!! They SO remind me of elephant ears from the Apple Festival- YUM-O!!!!!!
